Reproduction 18th-Century butcher knife replicating English imports to the colonies in North America. Seven-inch blade is forged carbon steel, 1-5/16 inches wide at choil, and 3/32 inch thick tapered to point and distal half tang. Blade is draw file and sand finished. Handle is stained European beechwood, 4-1/4 inches long.  The handle is faceted eight flats, with thinner faceted at pins. Blade tang is sealed with cutler's resin. The entire knife has been "antiqued" giving patina to both blade and handle to replicate slight signs of use.

The accompanying sheath tooled thin hide and hand stitched with linen thread.
