Hand-forged historic reproduction of 18th-Century small belt hatchet.  Head is 5-7/8 inches long with a 2-inch wide blade edge  High-carbon steel is forge welded into cutting edge. 3/4-inch long pole.  A light hatchet for general camp work and cutting game.  Hand-hewn and stained hickory handle measuring 15 inches from top of head.
